Here’s one last look at the Kickstarter, you can find a backer link below. We’ve got another few fun things in for approvals with Avatar Studios and ViacomCBS, but you all have done such an amazing job breaking every single record that we don’t want to directly tie anything else to the funding for the campaign. The Livestreamed game isn’t the only “cool thing” that the Avatar RPG has planned, as Magpie announced: It’s just another global supply chain issue in a string of global supply chain issues, and it’s not likely that people will be clearing swathes of forests to make Avatar RPGs, but that just shows how much further this Kickstarter has gone.
Of course Magpie games isn’t going to run the world out of Cardboard. We’re ahead of this issue-and every other global supply/shipping issue-because we’ve been working since 2020 to make sure we had everything lined up to send everything to you all on time. In short, this campaign has now grown to a size that we are encountering limits on the global paper supply available for printing this many books- our printer is telling us that there may not be enough cardboard in the United States to print these books on our original schedule. There’s nothing left now but to back the campaign to secure your copy (hardbound or digital) but you may want to do so sooner, rather than later: This is a huge win Magpie Games, the makers of Avatar Legends, who have recently announced the final stretch goal as we turn the corner in the last 24 hours of the campaign: an All-Star Live Streamed game, featuring Jennie Kwan, the voice of Suki–which, naturally, people have already unlocked. Especially given that it’s an RPG that isn’t D&D/d20 based. While it may not overtake monster Kickstarters, like, well, Kingdom Death: Monster, it still has broken through at an incredibly successful rate, sitting high on the top ten Kickstarters. There are, at press time, only about 30 hours left in the Avatar Legends RPG Kickstarter campaign, but it has currently blown past the initial $50,000 goal, raising almost $8.5 million at press time, making it not only the largest tabletop RPG campaign to successfully Kickstart, but making it larger than several actual tabletop games.

After some reluctance from Katara and Sokka, Team Avatar allows Zuko to join the group. Zuko catches up with Aang at the Western Air Temple and offers to teach Aang Firebending. Zuko, in a change of heart, decides to defy his father and join the Avatar.
The invasion ultimately fails, and only Aang and the rest of the young ones are able to escape. Initially the invasion proceeds as planned, but Aang fails to find the Fire Lord before the eclipse ends. The invasion will be staged by a ragtag group of benders and warriors whom Aang has helped along his journey. Sokka has planned a small-scale invasion of the Fire Nation to capture the Fire Lord's palace and defeat Fire Lord Ozai, taking advantage of the solar eclipse. Aang awakens to find the group disguised as Fire Nation soldiers heading West on a Fire Nation ship, while Zuko has been restored to his position as crown prince and Iroh is imprisoned as a traitor.
